Join Quincycles for our annual charity ride where we aim to support local Quincy charities/non-profits and give back to the community!
This year we will be supporting our friends at Quincy Animal Shelter (QAS) and Quincy Community Action Programs (QCAP)
We will be riding around the city, purchasing requested goods/items/supplies, and delivering them to the charities. At the end of the ride we will have donuts and coffee!

What is Cranksgiving?
Cranksgiving is an annual charitable bike ride that combines elements of a group bike ride, scavenger hunt and food drive. Originating in New York City in 1999, Cranksgiving invites cyclists of all ages and skill levels to participate in a fun event aimed at helping local communities. Participants ride through their cities, stopping at designated grocery stores to purchase specific food items. These items are then donated to local food banks, shelters, or other charities to support those in need during the holiday season.
The event usually occurs in November, around Thanksgiving, and has spread to cities worldwide. It’s often organized by local cycling communities or non-profit organizations. Cranksgiving emphasizes community building, giving back, and showcasing the power of bikes for good, with a light-hearted spirit that makes it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
